Tia Health is currently only available in the following provinces and territories of Canada:
  • Ontario
  • Alberta
  • British Columbia
  • Manitoba
  • New Brunswick
  • Newfoundland and Labrador
  • Nova Scotia
  • All 3 Territories


Medical visits via video/phone are not appropriate for every medical case. If you are experiencing any of the following, DO NOT CONTINUE. If you are having an emergency go to the hospital immediately (dial 911).

• chest pain or pressure

• difficulty/shortness of breath

• uncontrolled bleeding

• suspected poisoning

• prolonged vomiting or diarrhea

• suicidal thoughts/actions

• physical/head/neck injuries

• allergic reactions

• abdominal pain

• fainting or dizziness

• sudden severe headache

• severe burns

• slurred speech

• weakness or numbness

• mental health issues

• choking

Additionally: no children under 4 years of age, no prescriptions/renewals of controlled substances or narcotics, and no breast/pelvic/genital/rectal exams. You can only use Tia Health if you are a resident of, or will be in one of the above provinces and territories at the time of any appointment booked. Video chat and phone consultations are not appropriate for every medical case, some cases will require you see a doctor at a physical clinic, in person.
