  • Irregular periods or abnormal bleeding

  • Urinary issues

  • Fertility concerns

  • Lumps in the breasts

  • STIs

What is the benefit of seeing an online gynecologist?

The main benefit is being able to see a doctor and get the help you need quickly and flexibly. In-person appointments tend to have a longer wait time, so telehealth can be a great opportunity to receive treatment faster.

When should I see a gynecologist?

It is recommended that women visit a gynecologist every year for a general health screening or book an appointment sooner if you have a specific concern.

How do I prepare for my online appointment?

To ensure the gynecologist can provide an accurate diagnosis during your appointment, you can help by noting down any concerns and answers in advance. Considerations include when the problem first appeared, if you are aware of what may have caused it, anything that helps improve the issue and key descriptive details. You may wish to ask a friend or family member to take detailed photos in advance of the appointment that you can share with the online gynecologist.

What will the online pediatrician appointment be like?

Appointments usually take between five to thirty minutes depending on the individual need. The online pediatrician will ask for a description of your child’s symptoms and reason for the appointment. This will allow the pediatrician to determine the best course of treatment. If necessary, they may recommend a follow-up appointment or a visit to a physical clinic.

What if my area of concern is in a location that I do not want to share on video?

If you do not feel comfortable or are unable to show the online doctor the problem area during the video appointment, then you can take detailed photos ahead of time and share them with the gynecologist.
